RADIO & DRIVING LICENSES

In addition to your license, you will receive a full week of practical training on the boat. You will learn how to handle the boat, how to moor and cast off and how to anchor safely. As instructors, we have experienced professional skippers with a proven track record of at least 30,000 NM as skippers by day and night at your side.

You can obtain your radio license during a skipper training course or a vacation tour with one of our skippers. In just a few hours, you will learn the most important elements of voice or marine radio – important for communicating in emergency situations, saving lives and avoiding unnecessary costs.

The necessary knowledge and practical exercises are reinforced several times a day. Our successful examination rate is 96%.

During the training course, we address each participant individually from theory to practice. Our training includes navigation, light knowledge, reefing in all situations, anchoring, emergency practice and much more.

As a rule, we book double cabins with single occupancy – but one cabin per hull can also be double-occupied.

Our certificate includes the miles, the sea area and your tasks on board. 6 days we are in the wind and weather on board – so adequate weatherproof clothing is a must. Fully comprehensive insurance without excess is mandatory.
